The Fabric

Engineered for structure, drape, and long-term shape.

A Premium MicroModal Knit

At the core of every LAWRENCE tee is a custom-developed MicroModal knit engineered for softness, structure, and recovery. Unlike traditional cotton jerseys, this fabric is smooth to the touch, dense without feeling heavy, and designed to drape cleanly on the body without clinging.

The blend balances natural breathability with controlled stretch, allowing the garment to move naturally while maintaining its intended shape over time. The result is a fabric that feels elevated on first wear—and continues to look refined after repeated use.

The Fit You Buy Is the Fit You Keep.

Every detail of the fabric is engineered to maintain its shape, feel, and appearance over time.

  • 220 GSM Weight

A dense, opaque knit that provides structure without feeling heavy. Designed to drape cleanly and hold its form throughout the day.

  • Shrink-Controlled

The fabric is engineered to resist unwanted shrinkage, helping garments retain their original proportions wash after wash.

  • Deep, Clean Color

A smooth surface allows dye to penetrate evenly, resulting in richer blacks and cleaner tones that stay refined over time.

  • Naturally Wrinkle Resistant

The knit relaxes with movement, smoothing itself naturally once worn—no constant pressing required.

    LAWRENCE Standard vs. The Industry

A side-by-side comparison of fabric fundamentals that directly impact fit, feel, and longevity.

    Siro Spun™ Yarn Technology

Most tees are made with conventional ring-spun yarns that leave loose fiber ends on the surface. Over time, those fibers lift, snag, and pill—causing the fabric to look worn long before its time.

We use Siro Spun™ yarn technology, a premium process that twists multiple MicroModal strands into a compact, balanced helix. This locks fibers in place, creating a smoother surface that resists pilling, abrasion, and visual breakdown with wear.

It’s a more expensive process. We use it anyway.

    Derived from Nature

MicroModal is a cellulose fiber derived from beechwood, a renewable natural resource sourced from responsibly managed forests in Austria. It is transformed into an exceptionally smooth, breathable yarn designed for next-to-skin comfort.

The result is a fabric that feels soft against the skin while remaining durable enough for everyday wear—combining natural comfort with engineered performance.

    • Verified at the fiber level. Documented through production.

Our fabric is made using LENZING™ MicroModal fibers and verified through LENZING’s official traceability program. After knitting, each production run is submitted for confirmation and issued a unique reference number—verifying authentic fiber origin and approved downstream processing.
